Noisekölln presents a night of spaced out lo-fi psych goo, feat. Not Not Fun Founders Robedoor and Stockholm’s Sandcircles.
The LA-based psychedelic drone dub duo ROBEDOOR will hit Europe this October for the very first time – the only time they crossed the pond was in 2006 for a few UK gigs.
Alex Brown and Britt Brown will perform dark and intimate auditory rituals, supported by Not Not Fun favourites SAND CIRCLES.
Robedoor | Stagnant Venom
Robedoor fuse bummed guitars, loner drone tones, low caverns of reverbed drums and rumble, echo dislocation. Dead voices cascade down into the isolated highways. Song modes are carved out and then left to rot.
L.A.’s most downer erosion architects continue their narco drip into psych-streaked bleak house, the latest saga of which is Primal Sphere, the band’s first full-length since 2011’s Too Down To Die LP and the journey there-and-back was a cryptic and crooked crawl.
Sand Circles | Night Shift
Stockholm-based Sand Circles started activity in late 2010, releasing fuzzy tapes filled with deep synth chords filtered through afterhours tape echo units.
Transfusing reverb-refracted electronic horizon melodies with pulsing, primitivist warehouse-party drum machinery, Sand Circles is music for the ocean floor, rather than the dance floor.
