DIGITAL IN BERLIN (D/B) is a network for music lovers, adventures and individualists.
New and contemporary music – away from mainstream, pop-culture and the conventional society; we report on the most breathtaking metropolis in Europe. Because the destiny of Berlin is a continuous journey with out ever arriving.
An online magazine, events promoter, label, radio, forger of ideas and consultant, the D/B network is active in all spheres of Berlin sub-culture.
D/B organizes unique concerts the goal of which is to present challenging music. Digital in Berlin is not constrained by fashions, musical styles or other conservative boundaries. An all encompassing platform, D/B sees music as the main issue, never merely as a passing trend.
Digital in Berlin is also organizer of the MADEIRADIG Festival on the garden-island of Madeira in Portugal. The festival takes place once a year at the start of December.
The Digital in Berlin Radio and Podcast appear monthly.
D/B Radio with a view to bringing different styles and directions in music to a wider udience, and so fostering music that has a formidable and extraordinary approach. The shows are resented and compiled by musician, philosopher and multi-instrumentalist Dirk Markham and D/B founder Michael Rosen. The D/B Podcast is a unique compilation of our favorite songs each time with a specific theme in mind. The mix is designed to take you on an extraordinary journey through the world of serious music.
Planned for 2010 Digital in Berlin is a biannual print magazine as well as a weekly radio show on the FM frequency in Berlin. Following the first CD release last year four further releases are planned for 2010. In addition, major expansion is in the works for the online magazine including, for example, a new interview section.

DIGITAL IN BERLIN (D/B) ist ein Netzwerk für Musikliebhaber, Entdecker und Individualisten.
Neue und zeitgenössische Musik – abseits von Mainstream, Popkultur und konventionellen Formen berichten wir von der aufregendsten Metropole in Europa. Denn das Schicksal von Berlin ist immerfort zu werden aber niemals zu sein.
Als Online Magazin, Veranstalter, Label, Radio, Ideenschmiede und Berater fungiert D/B als Plattform in sämtlichen Bereichen musikalischer Subkultur.
D/B veranstaltet besondere Konzerte und Events, deren Ziel es ist anspruchsvolle Formen der Musik zu präsentieren. Digital in Berlin limitiert sich hier nicht durch Trends, Musikstile oder andere konservativen Spezifikationen. Plattformübergreifend ist hier Musik als Thema nicht als Trend zu verstehen.
Digital in Berlin ist außerdem Veranstalter des MADEIRADIG Festival auf der Blumeninsel Madeira in Portugal. Es findet jährlich Anfang Dezember statt.
Das Digital in Berlin Radio und Podcast erscheinen monatlich.
D/B Radio wirft einen Blick auf verschiedenste Stile und Bereiche der Musik. Auch hier gilt das Außergewöhnliche, Besondere und die Avantgarde der Öffentlichkeit vorzustellen. Moderiert und zusammengestellt von Musiker, Philosoph und Multiinstrumentalist Dirk Markham und D/B Gründer Michael Rosen. Der D/B Podcast ist eine besondere Zusammenstellung unserer Lieblingssongs mit wechselndem thematischem Schwerpunkt.
2010 wird Digital in Berlin voraussichtlich halbjährlich als Print-Magazin erscheinen und außerdem als Radio Show auf einer festen Frequenz in Berlin zu empfangen sein. Nach der ersten CD Veröffentlichung 2009 sind dieses Jahr vier weitere Releases in Planung. Außerdem wird das Online Magazin mit einer Interview-Sektion, einem digital-Shop und noch mehr täglichem Content ausgebaut.
