This concert is a special performance of the latest These New Puritan’s album.
[audio:01.Time Xone.mp3]Hidden (co-produced by former Bark Psychosis leader Graham Sutton), which sees the band working with the 20 members of the Britten Sinfonia Ensemble (and the conductor André De Ridder) to realize the record’s cinematic textures and ambitious arrangements.
These New Puritans consists of Jack Barnett (songwriter, producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist), his twin brother George Barnett (drums, loops), Thomas Hein (bass guitar, sampler, drums), and Sophie Sleigh-Johnson (keyboards, sampler).

Jack Barnett has said that their influences range from Wu Tang Clan to Aphex Twin; he also has a deep interest in love for the Early music of William Byrd and John Taverner.
