Stephan Mathieu is a self taught composer and performer of his own music, working in the fields of electroacoustics and abstract digitala.

His sound is largely based on early instruments, environmental sound and obsolete media.

These are recorded and transformed by means of experimental microphony, re-editing techniques and software processes involving spectral analysis and convolution.

Mathieu’s music has been compared to the landscape paintings of Caspar David Friedrich, the work of Colorfield artists Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman and Ellsworth Kelly.

BJ Nilsen is a sound and recording artist. He is primarily focused on the sound of nature and its effect on humans, field recordings, and the perception of time and space as experienced through sound, often electronically treated.

He has worked as composer and sound designer for documentary film, theatre, television and dance and performs his solo work regularly around the globe creating an immersive and intimate soundworld.

Philip Marshall is a designer for print and digital media, living and working between London and Berlin. Since 2009, he is the curator of The Tapeworm. He also holds the high office of Minister of Nothing in the Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland.

Marshall siphons us from our reality to opulent surroundings fragranced with bright, clear piano, and into what may be a Parisian street scene, or outside the HSBC in Rusholme, the field recordings subtly edited for a trippy deja entendu, before melting into a final section of lustrous drone.
