The four musicians explore the unpredictable combinations of their personal (musical) influences. Jazz meets Turkish tradition, classical music meets contemporary music, Xenakis meets Buddy de Franco, Ali Akbar Khan meets Monk,… In solo, duo, and trio, they play with the tension generated by working with and against a shared vocabulary, and create contrasting soundscapes in the process.
