Convoi Exceptionnel is a Berlin-, Zurich- and partially Geneva- based electro-organic music and performance group.
They play what they compose and they compose what they love. They combine handcraft of live instruments with creative use of sequencers.
Video projections are integrated as a musical instrument. When images alter the reception of sound they become musical. This is how they use moving images, as part of the music.

CE’s songs have been living with them for many years, changing along the way as the band members do. They form the repertoire, a continuum of compositions old and new.
Spaceous multicolour soundtracks with a pop melody here and there, from quiet to loud, from tranquility to groove, mostly instrumental and sometimes with beautiful vocals and lyrics from (guest) singer Julie Semoroz. Call it what you like, new kraut, artrock in space – to them it’s all Convoimusic. They play it worldwide.
