D/B Recommended: KILLL live in Berlin @ Berghain Club | Thursday, 09.09.2010

After their triumphant European tour in 2007 things got a bit quiet around KILLL, maybe a bit too quiet for a band which has been dubbed as “The best noise act in Oslo, and possibly the best live show I’ve ever seen” (Pitchfork).

On these shows the Norwegian all-star ensemble consisting of members of JAGA JAZZIST, JR EWING and SINGLE UNIT will give you an idea how their first official release, a concert DVD will look and sound like.

So far, the group is a live-only project and able to establish an enormous tension onstage between the hyper-discpline of their metal riff work and its often chaotic and unpredictable digital real time remix.

KILLL’s music can hardly be imagined without its visual representation: The brutal light designs by KYRRELYS (warning: not for the faint at heart, and even explicitly forbidden for pregnant and epileptic persons).
