Joachim Nordwall is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. He has a long background in the Swedish experimental music scene, starting out with recordings with the psych-drone duo Alvars Orkester as a teenager in 1988. His early interest in psychic tension created by sound is now as ever present in his music. His ”Soul Music” album for Entr’acte shows his deep interest in circular rhythms, analogue synth loops and mind expanding experiments.

Nordwall has also released his music on labels like Ash International and Hospital Productions. From 1999-2005 he was sweating with the avant punk rock trio Kid Commando and when that stopped he created the ritual drone rock group The Skull Defekts. Nordwall also runs iDEAL Recordings since 1998 and is collaborating with artists like Mika Vainio, Mats Gustafsson, Leif Elggren, Mark Wastell and Christine Abdelour, and he is a busy organizer of festivals and concert nights in Sweden and abroad.

Marcellvs L. was born in 1980 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and currently lives between Berlin and Seyðisfjörður, Iceland. Working in both video and sound, he has exhibited internationally since the mid 00′. He participated in numerous solo, group exhibitions and Biennials such as the 16th Biennale of Sydney (2008), 9th Biennale of Lyon (2007) and 27th Biennale of São Paulo (2006).

Daniel Löwenbrück is a German performance artist, composer of tape-music and (sometimes) visual-artist living in Berlin. He is releasing music and performing internationally since the 90′s as part of the Schimpfluch-Gruppe, and solo as Raionbashi and under his real name, including many performances and festival appearances. He founded the label Tochnit Aleph in 1994 publishing records and editions of Musique Concrete, Sound Poetry, Artist-Records & -Multiples and Noise Music. Since 2008 Löwenbrück curates the Gallery & Record-Shop Rumpsti Pumsti (Musik) in Berlin.

Mika Vainio, currently based in Berlin, was one half of the minimal electronic duo Pan Sonic from Finland, (the other half was Ilpo Väisänen). Before starting Pan Sonic in beginning of the 90′s Mika Vainio has played electronics and drums as part of the early Finnish industrial and noise scene.

His solo works, under his own name and under aliases like Ø, are known for their analogue warmth and electronic harshness. Be it abstract drone works or minimal avant techno, Vainio is always creating unique, physical sounds. At the NK he will playing records from his vast & weird collection before and after the shows.
