Tigerhead’s musical cognition was long and comprehensive, started almost fifteen years ago in her Czech little hometown where she was at first influenced by a massive punk-avantgarde movement spreading all over her country. At the year of 2010 through her main musical inspirations and experiences she collected, her biggest passion was discovered and aimed to an electronic music. Her sets and musical expression is known for wildness and audacity also it’s rawness, sharp and no fear attitude. They’re surprising as much as Tigerhead’s personality is. She also joins Berlin based established KILLEKILL.

QUESTIONS:
1. What is the biggest inspiration for your music?
Paradoxically my biggest inspiration mostly comes by chance and it’s from everything what surrounds me. More I am sensitive to the surroundings, more inspired and conscious I get. It could be any other media from paintings, books, situations, people, nature, dance choreography, but also from silence itself. It is never only about music.
2. How and when did you get into making music?
Originally I was supposed to be a painter as my both parents are. I accepted this ”prepared” future until the age of thirteen when my own personality started to develop. At this age I more or less fully discovered music. It went from addiction to the pure joy. It had all kind of forms, from punk to where I am now. At the beginning it was a question of riot and revealing the pain what such a young person can feel. Then it became to be an educative subject when I started to learn to play music instruments and then around the age of sixteen I was ready to beginn to compose my own music.

5. What’s your favourite place in your town?
Mostly there, where my loved ones are..
6. If there was no music in the world, what would you do instead?
If there would be no music in the world, I believe I would not exist either.

8. Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Musically Surgeon, Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, Aphex Twin, Blawan, Blixa Bargeld, Alva Noto, Laurent Garnier and many more. Generally I’d like to collaborate in any kind of way with Nikola Tesla..
9. What was your best gig (as performer or spectator)?
It is hard to say because it mostly depends on a point of view. As a performer I’d say that my first gig would be the most magical, because it was restricted of any kind of expectations and fear, it was just a pure determination and naivety. Best gigs are also these, which at a first moment don’t end up as best, but eventually they help you to improve. As a spectator every concert which I choose to go, because I always choose artists I admire the most and therefore I’m never disappointed.
10. How important is technology to your creative process?
In electronic music, technology is fundamentally most needed and used form for composition,
but for me the idea, the feeling, the reason and all kind of other purpose to make music have the same value as technology itself. One couldn’t work without the other.
11. Do you have siblings and how do they feel about your career/art?
I do have two half-sisters and I believe they support me in what I love as much as I support them.
