Berlin indie label par excellence Morr Music present a special Christmas lineup at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam this December with live performances from Fenster, Aloa Input and Slow Steve as well as Morr DJs, a Späti Palace stand and other treats. The perfect pop show to fill you with seasonal cheer.

Fenster is a four piece experimental pop band based in Berlin, formed by Jonathan Jarzyna and JJ Weihl in the winter of 2010. They have released two albums “Bones” (2012) and “The Pink Caves”(2014) on the Berlin based label Morr Music. Since March 2012, Fenster has toured extensively  in the USA, UK, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, and Denmark.

They’ve played at US festivals like SXSW and CMJ, in the UK at The Great Escape Festival and in Europe at places like EUROSONIC, Fusion, Immergut, Dockville and more. The current members of Fenster are Jonathan Jarzyna, JJ Weihl, and Lucas Chantre with a new drummer to be announced soon.

Past members of Fenster include Rémi Letournelle aka Slow Steve, Tadklimp, and Lucas Dubro. Special guest stars have included Redgie (Os Drongs), Etienne Arras (Rien, Câlin), Touchy Mob, and Charley Vectan. FENSTER is the de-constructed pop manifestation of New Yorker-turned-Berliner JJ Weihl and Berlin-born Jonathan Jarzyna, a right-time-right-place product of the winter of 2010-2011.

Layering subtle distortions, melodic chords and city soundscapes under dream narratives, the band’s name springs from an ominous incident during the recording of their first album: a window shattered on JJ’s head, bestowing her with a bump and the name FENSTER.

After 10 months of concerts and studio works, Aloa Input bridges the gap between their debut album “Anysome” and upcoming material. In order to achieve this some of their songs will be remixed by their top notch producer friends such as dinosaur b.fleischmann from Morr Music, experimental composer Richard Eigner and young Munich based electro heads VELI. They will open up more aspects of Aloa Input’s weird pop music songs and expose them in a new way.

We are giving away 2 x 1 tickets for this event. Check out our Facebook page to win tickets.
