As part of an extensive European tour to promote his new album Human Dont Be Angry on Chemikal Underground, former Arab Strap guitarist Malcolm Middleton makes a welcome return to Berlin this September.
The scotsman from Glasgow perveys a unique brand of good old heartfelt indie-rock.
Malcolm Bruce Middleton (born 31 December 1973) is a Scottish musician best known for his work with Aidan Moffat in post-folk indie band, Arab Strap, and his subsequent solo career, writing and producing. To date, Middleton has released five solo studio albums, with his most recent, Waxing Gibbous, released on 8 June 2009.

Whilst promoting Waxing Gibbous, Middleton noted that he would be refraining from performing and recording under his own name in the future, stating “I’m starting to feel like I’ve done as much as I can with this creative voice.”

Performing under the pseudonym, Human Don’t Be Angry, Middleton is currently recording a debut album for the moniker, due for release in 2012. Despite previous claims that he would retire his solo work, Middleton has recently resumed performing under his own name, alongside his work as Human Don’t Be Angry.
