QUESTIONS:

1. What is the biggest inspiration for your music?
I’ve been influenced by music since i was a kid. i remember my dad use to have a cassette from the Queen and those are my early memories. i have to say i moved to berlin from italy at the early age of 19 with a backpack full of dreams. i’ve been always passionate about music and i had the chance to create and to take part in building one of the best second hand vinyl shop in Berlin and probably in europe the Recordloft.
Basically going around Europe with a Van looking for used records opened an entire new world to me. I’ve been lucky and i could go thru the best records of the 80’s and 90’s and from there i was able to create my own music and understand a lot about how the electronic music it’s a this point right now.

2. How and when did you get into making music?
Early stage of production i share with my friend and music partner as part of the duo Hinode (i released more than 12 vinyl as Hinode) we started with an mpc 2000 and lot’s of idea ending up after few years with a studio full of hardware gears.

3. What are 5 of your favourite albums of all time?
Electro and New wave influenced me a lot and especially the italian coldwave which only lately it’s been rediscovered.

4. What do you associate with Berlin?
Berlin it’s the center of electronic music city with loads of opportunity but also a city where you can have a quite and peaceful lifestyle.

5. What’s your favourite place in your town?
I have a couple of favourites spots like small bars where i used to go on a easy going night.

6. If there was no music in the world, what would you do instead?
I grew up in a small place in the mountains in italy and i always loved skiing. I’ll be probably working in the mountains.

7. What was the last record/music you bought?
I bought the last E.R.P.: New Road and i really like the last work from galaxian.

8. Who would you most like to collaborate with?
Probably Stingray and Dj Skurge hopefully i’m gonna release a record soon with them.

9. What was your best gig (as performer or spectator)?
Best gig if i can remember was a weird warehouse party in GOTHENBURG Sweden probably about 400 people and the energy was insane.

10. How important is technology to your creative process?
Technology it’s the main driven thing nowadays i love to use my modular expand my ideas with tools. I used to avoid the computer and build my track with the drumcomputers and the synths. I like to use different sequencers and use cv gates. i usually mix on my soundcraft mixer and use hardware compressor.

11. Do you have siblings and how do they feel about your career/art?
I have great parents and a brother that support me i couldn’t ask better.
