This April at Spektrum in Neukölln Doron Sadja presents We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together – a kinetic sound and light performance that investigates the deconstruction/reconstruction of white noise and white light.
White noise is what the human ear hears in the presence of all wavelengths of the audible spectrum. Technically, within a segment of white noise you have all the materials for every song ever written, and every song that will ever be written. Similarly, white light is what the human eye sees in the presence of all wavelengths of the visible spectrum.[vimeo 182211064 w=700&h=481]
Like a prism divides white light into the complete visible color spectrum (rainbow), “We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together” aims to explore the idea of a sonic prism, where the ear becomes the location where all frequencies combine to create pure ‘white’.
