Dario Tronchin, better known as Chevel, is emerging quickly in the electronic music scene. After graduating at SAE institute in Berlin, Dario began to work on his own aesthetics and launched Enklav records, his first platform to promote his very own music vision.
On Enklav he released several EPs and a full-lenght album, Apply Within, which has been strongly supported both by the press and international artists. After launching Enklav, Dario released an epic techno EP on the spanish label NON Series.
In the meantime, Dario got closer with the italian label Vae Victis and there, he released another EP, “A Loveable Inciter”, which has been highly supported by artists such as Ben UFO, Pearson Sound, Joy Orbison, Happa, Steffi and many more.
Few months after the Vae Victis release, Dario was asked to record an album for Non Series. The outcome, Air Is Freedom, has been strongly supported and it allowed him to gain exposure and visibility.
Notwithstand ing working in a techno and experimental contest, Dario has been able to explore different kinds of musical aesthetics; a series of abstract deep house tunes which gained great support from artists such as Madteo, Steffi, Nina Kraviz, Mosca and many others.
In march 2014, Chevel returned on Stroboscopic Artefacts with a 4-track EP which seduced also the Boiler Room crew, which also featured “Cave Dwelling”on Boiler Room Debuts. With gigs at Berlin’s Berghain, Nuits Sonores Festival in Lyon, Norberg Festival in Sweden, Le Batofar in Paris, Goa Club in Rome, Altavoz Festival in Venice and Fuse in Brussels, Chevel is set to become one of the most interesting names of the european electronic music scene.
