Following the release of the Emmi Aid compilation, Martin Hossbach hosts a benefit concert for the preservation of the Emmauswald forest in Neukölln at the Festsaal Kreuzberg in January.
The concert will include performances by many of the artists featured on the compilation including Berend Intelmann, Bernadette La Hengst & Chor der Statistik, Cem Çakmak, Christoph de Babalon, Die Jünger Emmaus & der Endziffer 0 Chor, Dina Summer, Garagen Uwe, hackedepicciotto, İkili, Iotaphi, Jemek Jemowit, Kota No Uta, krautfuzz, Lewin Krumpschmid, Martha Rose, Mezanmi, Michaela Meise, Scheintreu, Schneider TM and Victoria Keddie.
EMMI AID is a compilation by the initiative EMMAUSWALD BLEIBT! 57 musicians and bands have contributed original or previously unreleased songs to support the Emmauswald, which is threatened by deforestation — a musical wake-up call to save Berlin-Neukölln’s largest woodland.
