Son Lux composes music film, theater and dance. Film credits include arranging and programming for four major features, most notably Looper (2012), Don Jon (2013), and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby (2014), starring James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain.

A prodigious classical pianist as a child and teenager, Bell graduated from the New England Conservatory before moving to New York City to pursue electronic composition and songwriting.
