Schneider TM & Dorit Chrysler at Synthesizer Museum / Saturday, 24.1.2026

Experience a very special evening with two renowned musicians. Playing solo and together, you’re going to hear and see 3 Live Sets. Experimental processed e-guitar + interactive FM synthesis meets Theremin + Buchla synthesizer + voices.

Schneider TM is a multidimensional music project by Dirk Dresselhaus that oscillates extensively between experimental electronic avant-pop and more abstract, improvisational material, occasionally bringing these and other seemingly opposing elements together.

Since the mid-Nineties, he has been exploring unknown musical territory on practically each new release, solo or in diverse short- and long-term collaborations and projects with the likes of ex-Pan sonic member Ilpo Väisänen (as die ANGEL), Zappi W Diermaier (Faust), Oren Ambarchi, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Elena Poulou (ex-The Fall), Damo Suzuki (ex-Can), Einstürzende Neubauten’s Jochen Arbeit & Andrew Unruh, Günter Schickert. Over the last years, Dirk has been moving SCHNEIDER TM in the direction of instantly composed freeform music.

Dorit Chrysler is a Thereminist, sound artist, composer and musicologist. Since her first encounter with the Theremin, she has mastered the instrument and has applied its technology to varied art disciplines.
