With all the talk about lack of free space and creative art activities being pushed to the fringe, its refreshing to see a new venue spring up slap bang in the middle of the city.
This fairly new club couldnt be more central located as it is a stones throw from Alexander Platz, directly behind the Kino International. Naherholung Sternchen is a spacious venue with a ground floor as well as basement stages and hosts an excellent programme of live music ranging from experimental and electronica to rock as well as regular (english language) standup comedy and special events such as film festivals, screenings and workshops. Just dont ask us to translate the title!
