IOSONOUNCANE is the name of the psychedelic sensation from Bologna, Italy. His debut album “La macarena su Roma” was released in October 2010 on Trovarobato Records, gaining him wide recognition and critical acclaim, as well as an ever-growing audience.
Throughout 2014 he worked in the studio with Bruno Germano to complete the production of “DIE,” his new album released in March 2015. “DIE” is a 38 minute suite where all the pieces are connected rhythmically and harmonically to create a continuous flux of sound.

The day is high over the waves and a man at sea is fearing death. At the same moment a woman watches the last winds of the storm from the mainland with the terror of never seeing him alive again. DIE is the story of their thoughts over just a few seconds.
Psychedelia, Sardinian cantu a tenore, minimalism, techno, lo-fi electronica, progressive, songwriting are some of the elements that structurally and tonally characterize the record, using a somewhat heretical approach to each of these formulas.
