ZAGG’s invisibleSHIELD™ is a thin polyurethane film originally created for the military to protect the leading edge of helicopter blades. What’s unique about this military-grade, patented film is how tough it is – it doesn’t scratch. What makes invisibleSHIELD so strong, flexible and scratch-proof? Its Nano-Memory technology™. With this technology, it also allows it to curve and contour around an entire device (not just the screen) and adhere to the device unless you want to remove it.

Introduced to the world in early 2005, the invisibleSHIELD is the first product of its kind. Its patent-pending solution of wrapping hand-held devices with a clear protective film, has revolutionized the industry and has changed the way people think of protecting their beloved gadgets. Others have tried to imitate the invisibleSHIELD so don’t be fooled by cheap copy-cats.

Apart from keeping your devices scratch-free, the invisibleSHIELD provides some unexpected benefits. Unlike cases, its uncompromising design doesn’t take away from the look and feel of your device. It adds no bulk, allowing you to freely hold, carry, and dock your device without interruption. Also, its “grippy” feel gives your device an improved grip making it less likely that you will drop your once-slippery device.

The invisibleSHIELD has been designed to protect over 2,500 handheld electronics, including the Apple iPod touch, the Apple iPhone 3G, the LG Voyager, the BlackBerry Curve and so many, many more. If your device is not listed on our site, we can even custom design one for you. VIA www.zagg.com

“The remote control needs only 30 cranks–which is nothing when you yo-yo,” argues Peter.
“Physik und Kunst: Der Fulgurator kann die Wirklichkeit verändern.
Den koppelt er mit dem Auslöser.
I’m guessing dynamic music could work on a platform like iPhone if executed correctly, but I wish the developer would refrain from the sensationalist “digital drug” references – they seem unnecessary.

Nabaztag (Armenian for “rabbit”) is a Wi-Fi enabled electronic device in the shape of a rabbit, invented by Rafi Haladjian and Olivier Mével, and manufactured by Violet. Nabaztag is a “smart object” comparable to those manufactured by Ambient Devices; it can connect to the Internet (for example to download weather forecasts, read its owner’s email, etc). It is also fully customizable and programmable.

Out of the box, Nabaztag is 23 cm in height and weighs 418 g. It can send and receive MP3s and messages that are read out loud as well as perform the following services (by either speaking the information out loud or using indicative lights): weather forecast, stock market report, news headlines, alarm clock, e-mail alerts, RSS-Feeds, MP3-Streams and others. There is an API, with bindings for multiple programming languages including Java or Perl, available to program the Nabaztag.

QR Codes are an alternative to barcodes. They work in the same way in that they are 2-dimensional, and although initially used for tracking parts in vehicle manufacturing, QR Codes, which stand for “Quick Response Codes,” are now used in a much broader context, including both commercial tracking applications and convenience-oriented applications aimed at mobile phone users. QR Codes storing addresses and URLs may appear in magazines, on signs, buses, business cards or just about any object that a user might need information about. A user having a camera phone equipped with the correct reader software can scan the image of the QR Code causing the phone’s browser to launch and redirect to the programmed URL.
