An international night of transgressive noise, sound art and electronica, featuring Tomy Herseta (Indonesia), Dirar Kalash (Palestine), Szkieve (Canada), Marie Takahashi & Ottó Szabolcs Horváth (Japan/Germany), and C-drík aka Kirdec (Belgium/Congo).
Tomy Herseta : also known as Kvmsy is an Indonesian electronic and ambient artist who composes music for films, video games, performances, etc.
Dirar Kalash : Palestinian composer, he operates in the field of jazz, free improv and noise music, using free and open-source software in the field of real-time audio, video and image processing, he is also a multi-instrumentalist.
Szkieve : as an experimental musician, Dimitri della Faille has been active since 1997. Since then, he has extensively toured Asia and Latin America. In 1998, he founded the independent record label, Disques Hushush, from which he has released about 25 records from experimental and noise artists from Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America.
C-drík : composer and musician who operates in the field of noise, electronic and experimental music since 1989, born in Zaire (DR Congo). C-drík explores electronic, experimental and noise music from Asia and Africa, label manager at Syrphe, concert organiser, author, radio host at Radio Staalplaat and Colaboradio, etc. C-drík extensively toured Asia, Europe, North Africa and North America. In 2016, together with Dimitri della Faille, C-drík published the book and CD Not Your World Music: Noise In South East Asia.
Marie Takahashi & Ottó Szabolcs Horváth : Marie Takahashi is a modern/baroque violist & chamber musician. Her ensembles vary from baroque duo to contemporary quartet with electronica. Ottó Szabolcs Horváth is a trombonist and singer who was born and raised in Hungary, but made his first musical steps in Austria, screamed and sang in countless bands, most of them rather hard, loud and noisey.
