HYPNODRONE ENSEMBLE (Berlin) plays their yearly kraut space noise rock ritual in Berlin, their first in 16 months! Established in 2014, the band released on Consouling Sounds, Little Cracked Rabbit and Calostro Recordings, performed at Incubate Festival (NL) and Beautés Soniques (BE).

Their latest activities include a recording session at the mighty Vox-Ton Studio with an expanded lineup of 9 musicians with guests on bass, violin, baritone guitar and synth/tape loops. While we wait on the resulting release, for this performance at the intimate Jägerklause, Hypnodrone returns to the raw basics with the core line-up of Aidan Baker (Nadja, BBS, etc) & Eric Quach (thisquietarmy) on guitar & Felipe Salazar (Caudal), David Dunnett (Man meets Bear), & Jérémie Mortier (Nearest Gas Station) on drums.
TQAxOSB (Montreal) is the temporary name of a work-in-progress project featuring Eric Quach (TQA) and Aidan Girt (OSB, formely 1-Speed Bike), drummer of Godspeed You! Black Emperor (who are playing the day before!). The duo started to work on proper electronic collaborations at the beginning of 2017, though the project drastically evolved through recent collaborative live gigs in Belgium and France that were more axed on heavy guitar/drum jam sessions. They are currently working on the recordings of this rocking variation, progressively breaking out of the electronic mould.
