Hilary Jeffery is a trombonist, composer, artist and writer.
Music has been Hilary’s main activity since 1990 which started with a journey to the Sahara Desert, accompanied by a trombone. This journey and the sense of silent-space experienced there has been a continuous influence on his work ever since.
As a trombonist Hilary has recorded and played live with many musicians and groups including Apa Ini, The Barton Workshop, Paul Dunmall Quartet and Octet, Moksha Big Band, Hugh Davies, Lysn, Jimi Tenor, Kreepa, Germ, Sand, Keith Tippetts Tapestry, Catherine Christer Hennix and The Kilimanjaro Dark Jazz Ensemble.[vimeo 42533393 w=620&h=300]
Hannes Buder is a musician, improviser and composer in the field of experimental music.
His works concentrate on issues of movement, authenticity, intuition, minimalism, density and slowness.
Buder’s current projects include the bands “[ro]” with Hannes Lingens, “Shotgun Chamber Trio” with Lucia Martinez and Oleg Hollmann, “Heisenberg Quintet” with Anna Kaluza, Niko Meinhold, Stephan Bleier and Rui Faustino, and his solo project.
