Gustavo Costa started playing drums in 89 in several underground bands. Since then, studied drums, classical and contemporary percussion, music technology, sonology and composition with among others, Miguel Bernat, Fritz Hauser, Clarence Barlow, Dimitris Andrikopoulus and Frederick Gifford.
As a musician played or collaborated with John Zorn, Damo Suzuki, Steve Mackay, Genocide, Tres Tristes Tigres, Stealing Orchestra, Alfred 23 Harth, Carlos Zíngaro, Barbez, Rafael Toral, Stephano Giust, Madame Pi, Mecanosphere, Drumming, Motornoise, Sikhara, Soopa and many others…

Besides his work as a musician he is also a co-founder of the Sonoscopia Cultural Association, the cd-r label Let´s Go To War, and member of Co-Lab, International Festival of Experimental and Improvised Music.

Susana Santos Silva is a portuguese trumpet player, improviser and composer based in Porto. Member of Orquestra Jazz de Matosinhos and co-founder of the Porto-based jazz musicians association Porta-Jazz and it’s label, Carimbo. She is also a leader of her own quintet with whom she released in 2011, “Devil´s Dress” on Tone of a Pitch Records.

With LAMA, a Rotterdam based trio with portuguese bassist Gonçalo Almeida and canadian drummer Greg Smith she records Oneiros (2011) and Lamaçal (2013) featuring Chris Speed, both released on Clean Feed Records. With drummer Jorge Queijo records, in 2013, Songs from my Backyard released on Wasser Bassin.

Susana will collaborate with the drummer, sound artist and performer Wieland Möller. Möller works as a drummer with international bands of different stylistics, e.g. the jazz trio ATOS and his own trio which recently released the debut album “Akvariet”. He has been a scholar of the Goethe Institution Germany and guest at the Buenos Aires Jazz Festival, Jazz International Rotterdam and North Sea Jazz Festival.
