D/B Artist Feature: FUNCKARMA

I saw the guys from Netherlands here in Berlin a couple of years ago.  FUNCKARMA is the music of brothers Don & Roel Funcken.  Great Electronica-IDM /Noise-Ambient Stuff.

Both have been influenced by music from the moment they visited earth. Especially music seen as sound always had the core attraction to them. Both didi studies in audio visual surroundings. Influences on their work are hiphop, jazz, reggae and dub music, soul music and definitely beats in all ways imaginable.

Having released pretty much electronic music lately, more and other influences will come on following releases. Funckarma’s first ambient full length, “Psar Dymog” is out now on Tokyo’s Symbolic Interaction.
