The Feebackorchester is a powerful ensemble for ten electric guitars under the conductor ship of well-established session musician Herman Halb.
The FBO was founded in Berlin in 1999. Their music is a slow and steady flow of vibrations and frictions. In these soundscapes, sounds and harmonies constantly attract one another, forming waves that break and build up again, reuniting eventually.
Their unusual and performance is a remarkable cross among avant-garde, Noise Rock and Free Jazz. The Orchestra is made up of eight electronic guitar players who work exclusively with feedback effects. On stage, they position themselves in a circle to establish close contact and interaction. The audience can move freely around outside the circle and listen to the music from different positions.
