Inspired by the Cabinet of Curiosities from Renaissance Europe, each event gathers and presents a patchwork of creative works from various performers and artists to actualize an enchanting evening filled with enlightment and discovery.

Through deeply-rooted electronic beats and shamanistic voices, passing by the taste of the Caraïbes to pure african vibes, the third Cabinet of Wonders opens the doors to a joyful and somptuous trenscendance through all the senses.

In the voluptuous dance, Aïsha Devi, Kate Wax’s alter ego, will present her freshly released Aura 4 Everyone EP. Out on Dance Noire, her own sanctuary-label that has the goal of dismantling current notions of body music.

Previously, Devi has recorded for Border Community, Output, and Mental Groove. Laying the Kate Wax moniker to rest, this new EP is rooted in her meditation, teaming her spirituality with her machines “to reach transcendence.”

Awsome Tapes from Africa, this is music you won’t easily find anywhere else—except, perhaps in its region of origin. Brian Shimkovitz’s (the guy behind the Awesome Tapes from Africa blog and the eponymous label) well-crafted sets are exclusively constructed from rare african cassette tapes.

Besides being loads of fun, his very fine DJ-sets are offering an ethnomusicologal close-up to the hidden musical cultures of an entire continent.

From 20h on, delicious Caribbean food will be served by Cris, the cook of the traditional Wax Treatment. Tape Over will tape your body with traditional style tape ornaments and while joining the dance, you can watch the illuminations cteated by Mrtz.

To follow the dancing mood, the dutch philosopher, astrologist and DJ Baba Chaos will present a selection of his favourites grooves coming from Middle-East and Africa. And to become free, Arthur Roussel from Stay Free Kollektiv will beat the party until the dawn. Some surprise activities will enter the dance ! To descover on-site.
