Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra at Privatclub

Following the release of their brand new album Vula on The Notwists excellen Alien Transistor label, the one and only Andromeda Mega Express Orchestra play a very special open air hometown show this August as part of the 7 Large Ensembles series.

After a very busy last year with many shows and special projects, we had to reduce the workload from absolutely insane to relatively insane. After eleven years, AMEO is still an independent orchestra organizing itself as a constantly working and traveling 20-man-heavy group against all odds.

Now, our 4th album „Vula“ is about to be released on CD and 2LP (Alien Transistor). Almost five years after its initial sparks, this thunderstorm of a record is finally occurring on your stereos after a long and winding process: The first compositions were written in 2012, the music was mainly recorded in 2014, edited and finally mixed from 2015 to 2016.

It has its own distinct sound and features some of our most played material over the last years. In comparison to our last two albums, there are more harmonic and melodic elements to it, but also a frenzied and urgent energy that keeps pushing throughout this one hour ride.
